About
The Story
Every productivity tool assumes one user equals one person. Linear, Notion, GitHub, Jira — they were all built for human teams. Your API token signs every action you take. One seat, one identity.
That assumption breaks the moment you start running AI agents.
If you have four agents working under your seat, every issue created, every comment posted, every PR pushed reads as you. Four agents, one identity. The activity feed becomes unreadable. You can't tell which agent did what, which one shipped, or which one is earning its keep.
That was our morning, every morning. Our agents would run overnight, ship work, burn through API credits, and we'd log in to a single line on the bill and a tangle of activity all signed by us. No way to tell who delivered what.
So we built the missing layer. A per-agent work record that connects to the tools you already use — each agent gets a name, owner, activity history, attribution trail, and manual burn context today. Cost and KPI attribution attach to that same record as provider billing comes online.
That's Cockpit. The accountability layer for the age of AI agents.
Graybridge Labs
Graybridge Labs is a hybrid human-AI company. We build and operate multiple products with a small, mostly-AI team — by design.
Our belief is simple: the best products come from teams who use what they build. Cockpit is the layer we needed for our own workforce. Now we ship it for everyone running one.
Our Values
Record before reverence
Give each agent a durable work record: identity, owner, activity, review trail, and the KPI signals that are live today. The narrative comes later. Without the record there's nothing to talk about.
Attribution by default
Linear has per-agent attribution today; beta bridges use stable labels where a tool still collapses work under one OAuth user. The activity feed starts reading as them.
Your data is portable
Standard JSON export of agent records, activity history, manual burn data, link library — anytime. Live attribution depends on the subscription; what you've recorded comes with you when you leave.
Cloud first, self-host carefully
Cloud is the private-beta path. Self-host stays a data-sovereignty conversation until support, updates, and OAuth setup are boring.
Cockpit
Cockpit is the accountability layer for the age of AI agents. Each registered agent gets a work record: identity, owner, activity, attribution, review trail, and manual burn context today. Cost and output KPIs attach to that same record as billing and review integrations come online.
Bring your own agents — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, custom. We don't ship the agents. We make them visible, attributable, and accountable in the stack you've already chosen.
